Assessment & Evaluation

At Parambi Learning Center, assessment is not about marks and rankings — it is about understanding each child’s journey and nurturing growth in every dimension of life. We view assessment as a supportive tool to guide learning, rather than a source of stress.

1

Observation-Centered

Teachers closely observe each child’s curiosity, effort, creativity, and conduct in daily activities. Every child is seen and understood in various real-life contexts, not just in exams.

2

Narrative Feedback

Instead of relying solely on grades, we provide detailed, narrative feedback that celebrates each child’s strengths and gently guides areas that need improvement. Parents receive observation sheets of their child’s progress — not just numerical scores.

3

Skill & Value-Based

We give equal importance to practical skills, behavior, and values as we do to academic knowledge. Discipline, responsibility, service, and the arts are assessed alongside math or science understanding.

4

Experiential Evaluation

Children demonstrate learning through projects and real experiences. Whether it’s a science experiment, a handwork creation, a farming activity, or a storytelling session, students show what they have learned by doing — which makes their education real and meaningful.

5

Self & Peer Reflection

Learners are encouraged to reflect on their own work and to give and receive feedback with peers. This nurtures self-awareness, confidence, collaboration, and the ability to learn from others.

6

Holistic Growth

Assessments consider the body, mind, heart, and spirit. We look at physical development, cognitive skills, emotional maturity, social skills, and spiritual values like empathy and integrity — ensuring a balanced view of each child’s growth and inner strength.
